NO on 50

Prop 50’s fate still hangs in the balance No images? Click here Dear John, There’s one week left in the campaign to defeat Prop 50, and more than four million votes have been cast so far.

Tahoe Keys Property Owners Association
This evening the Tahoe Keys Board of Directors voted to “stay” enforcement of the signing rule for Keys members. After much discussion, it was determined that the current rule restricting posting of political signs to only 30-days prior to an election was no longer in conformance with state law or the CSLT ordinance (60 days).

The BOD also directed ACC to review the Davis-Sterling Act and any other state and local laws concerning posting of these signs and to propose new wording for TKPOA.  That won’t happen real soon, but for the moment one political sign may be posted per property. The signs can be posted back-to-back with different messages.

The coalition, LT patriots or LT Taxpayers groups have signs available for Measure N and David Jinkens and Keith Roberts, local candidates for City Council.
